The Bremen team hopes that you are all excited about the Bremen Forum. We will do our best to make your stay in Bremen something to remember and we know that it is not all work work work, therefore here are some ideas about how you can spend your free time in Bremen:

If the weather is good and the sun is shining as we have planned:

One of the largest and best cultivated parks in the region. It is located 3 minutes away from the hotel and it is a popular spot for joggers, nature loves and families.

Another large park in Bremen that houses hundreds of species of rhododendron from around the world. Within the park you can find the botanica centre where you can discover the plants of the world and explore the living environments of Himalaya and Borneo as well as the Japanese Garden.

The oldest quarder of Bremen dated back to the 12th - 13th century. Narrow stone streets and old houses bring you back in time.

If you would like to visit museums there is a little bit for everyone:

Located in the city centre with a exhibition area of almost 10000m2 the visitor can explore life on earth in the different continents.

This museum allows visitors to explore the history of Bremen regarding art and culture.

In the middle of the city by the Weser river the museum of the brewery shows visitors the differents types of beer, the raw materials the store rooms and the brewing process.

The museum shows the history of the cathedral and how it was built. Exhibits include fragments of silk pontifical robes, mitres, crosiers, bishop rings, sculptures, historical wall paintings and tools used at the altar from the 11th to the 15th century and other work of art.

For football fans. The "Wuseum" shows the historical moments of Werder through a variety of multimedia terminals which offer photos, audio recordings and video clips, and there's even an interactive Werder Bremen trivia challenge.

Situated directly next to the Atlantic Universum hotel, the Universum allows visitors to experience first hand "MAN", "EARTH" and "COSMOS". The interactive expositions encourage visitors to try things out for themselves and learn by doing. Highly recommendable!

Next to the "Universum" you can find the "Schaubox" building where the chocolate exhibition takes place. Here you can find all the information about how chocolate is made and try the different tastes.
