Tool: Centra Web Seminar

Length: 1 hour

Format:

- Introduction / system setup: ensure that all the participants have their headphones, microphones and eventually webcam working [15 minutes]

- Agenda and introduction on the subject  [5 minutes]

- Who is online?  [5 minutes]

- Question 1: what are NOT new forms of education (1 student per country)  [15 minutes]

- Statements (choice)  [15 minutes]

  1: a new form of education is when students and not the teacher give each other feedback on (for 

  example) a text.

  2: universities do not need to offer students ICT-tools like a virtual learning environment since students

  bring their own tools to the university 

  3: what would you recommend your university to improve with regards to teaching and use of ICT 

- Conclusing remarks [5 minutes]

Participant profile:

• students in higher education

• teachers or online tutors using or wanting to use ICT with students

• elected representatives of a higher education institution with a remit for ICT or eLearning

• managers of ICT or eLearning units

• researchers in a related field
