For previous online seminars we invited experts to join the discussion. For this seminar, students themselves are the experts. We usually tend to talk about students, now we want to listen to them! What is new or innovative education from their pespective? What do they expect from their teachers? And what of the role of ICT? Ineke Lam and Magda Ritzen (IVLOS Institute - Utrecht University, The Netherlands) moderated this session, where the students are the experts. First, the moderators asked their input more in general about 'new education' and than they provided them with statements about our eLene-TLC vision on newness with the questions to discuss these. This online event took place using the Centra platform, which enables real-time audio and video communication. You might be a student yourself, or an ex-student. Or you could be a teacher interested in designing ICT-supported learning, a head of department with a will to innovate, or just someone curious about these important topics. |
