European online seminar: Online assessment in Higher Education

The eLene-TLC network organized an online seminar with the aim of sharing new forms of online assessment between experts and teachers.

The seminar was chaired by Magda Ritzen (IVLOS, Utrecht University), and three experiences were presented:

- Feedback in online learning environments by Anna Espasa, Teresa Guasch & Ibis Alvarez (Open University of Catalonia) see the presentation "Feedback online seminar".

The methodological approach of the seminar is practical, with the aim that participants incorporate changes in their practice after participating in the seminar. After the seminar, participants are encouraged to register as users in the eLene Teaching and Learning Centre www.tlcentre.net (http://www.tlcentre.net/) to keep in contact with the experts in order to ask questions or make comments about the implementation of the experiences.

Important notes:

- Please be sure that you can install the Centra software and that you have headset and webcam to follow the conference!

- Every person that watches the seminar listens to the presentations (one or all three) here!

Since for most people this is the first time they attend an online seminar, we take 15 minutes to have everybody online in Centra.
