I am professor at the Department of Psychology and Education of the Open University of Catalonia (www.uoc.edu (http://www.uoc.edu/)) since 2002, at the PhD programme on the Information and Knowledge society, and at the International Master on e-learning, in particular of the subject Planning training teaching processes with Information and Communication Technologies.

PhD in Psychology, Ramon Llull University, Barcelona (2003). Dissertation focused on teaching and learning strategies.

I have given guidance on teaching and learning strategies in different educational stages, and I have made stages in different foreign universities: University of Leeds (UK), University of Nebraska, University of Kentucky (USA), and University of Helsinki (Finland).

My research activity is focused on learning strategies and processes of teaching and learning in online learning environments (knowledge construction and teachers training). I am member of the research group EDUS (Distance Education in universities and schools) UOC/IN3 (Internet Interdisciplinary Institute).

Role in the eLene-TLC project: Leader of Work Package B1 and B2 (University Teachers trainers and Teachers training).
