2. KeywordsTable of contentsFrom eLene-TLC wikiThis page is to collect and agree on a new list of keywords for referencing resources in the TLCentre. In order to structure our work, we propose to use the competency framework as a basis. The initial keywords here are taken from or inspired by the competency frameworks for teachers, students and instructional designers as well as keywords relating to resources for decision makers. Please add your own ideas or comment on the following proposals. Matteo: Hi everybody. I think that these are reasonable. But I think we can keep all of them. If I well understood we decided not to keep the idea of self-creation of new keywords (each user eventually adds keywords each time he adds a resource). In the case of a closed number of fixed keywords,we may keep these ones just deleting the most general ones (ICT, online, and so on...). We will discuss in Dec 1st Centra meeting if this catgorisation is to be shown explicitly in the list of suggested keywords for users. Keywords should be single words or very short expressions e.g. 'social software' but NOT sentences. If you want to delve deeper into the notions of metadata and vocabularies, see the LRE and MELT documents provided by Peter in attachment. Deadline: Nov 28th - to validate in Centra meeting Dec 1st (aim = select the 30 most useful keywords for the suggested keywords list) General:eLearning (spelt like this systematically!)
